This four part workshop series offers a structured, hands on introduction to Pattern Workshop Series - guiding you from your very first measurements to a completed pattern crafted entirely by hand. Each session builds intentionally on the last, giving you both the technical foundation and the confidence to continue creating on your own.

What you'll walk away with: A solid understanding of how to measure the body and a finished garment, a hand drafted T-shirt pattern you created yourself, practical cutting and fabric skills, and firsthand insight into the construction techniques used by industry professionals.

Workshop 1 — Precision in Measurement May 3 · 9–11am

Every well made garment begins with accurate measurements. In this foundational session, you'll learn how to measure the human body and an existing T-shirt, and develop an understanding of spec sheets and Points of Measurement — essential tools used throughout the industry. Please bring a T-shirt from home. (All other supplies are provided.)

Workshop 2 — Crafting Your Pattern May 9 · 9am–1pm

In this session, your measurements become a tangible pattern. Working by hand, you'll learn to translate key measurements onto paper, exploring the role of grainlines, seam allowances, and construction details that influence how a finished garment fits and moves. You'll leave with your own pattern card and a set of sewing instructions. (All supplies provided.)

Workshop 3 — Cutting with Confidence May 10 · 9am–1pm

A well drafted pattern is only as strong as its execution on fabric. This session focuses on transferring your pattern accurately, respecting grainlines and fabric direction, and applying precise cutting techniques including bias cut, cross cut, and straight cut methods. (All supplies provided.)

Workshop 4 — Perfecting the Stitch May 16 · 9am–1pm

In the final session, you'll see everything come together. Skilled sewing technicians will walk you through the complete T-shirt construction process, demonstrating the machines, methods, and finishing techniques used in professional production. (All supplies provided.)
